OptiFDTD is an FDTD method-based software package, specializes in photonic simulation and design.
It includes:
- 2D/3D modeling tool
- 2D/3D mode solver
- FDTD calculation engine
- Visual Basic Script
- Photonic Crystal Band Solver
- Post-processing tool (result analyzer)
- Other tools (overlap integral, far-field calculator, Zemax converter, etc.)
We will demonstrate the modeling and design of the grating coupler using OptiFDTD
